The Tomidi Tall Ships Race & Hanse Sail Rostock 2013
is:
Crossing the entire Southern North Sea to enter the only natural and beautiful Danish Limfjord at Thyboron going through Aalborg (3rd biggest Danish city & brewer of Aquavit) and leaving the fjord at Hals. Then southwards to Aarhus (2nd biggest Danish city) where Race 1 starts and where the Baltic adventure can start after passing a lot of Danish islands with Bornholm being the most beautiful. Later on we pass the Swedish island Gotland, and finish Race 1 in Helsinki. Finland: land of a thousand lakes, but also of a thousand small islands.
The cruise in company then brings us through many Estonian and Latvian isles and coasts to Riga - capital of Letland. Further on Race 2 will - through the bay of Riga & along the Lithuanian, Russian and Polish coasts - bring us to Szczecin (Poland) - event sponsor.
From there it goes to Germany - Rostock, one of the Hanse cities. Finally going home by Kiel, through the Kieler Canal to the River Elbe and then back into the North Sea along the German and Dutch coasts back to Ostend.

Seagulls hovering on the wind, seals, puffins and gannets fishing in the waves, ...
White cliffs, dark granite and basalt coasts, rough rocks, white sands, green valleys, pine woods, numerous islands and dunes.
Magnificent sunrises, long daylight and short nights (even ashore sometimes...), more or less wind, some rain and then again magnificent sunsets and… most of all loads of international fun & friendship!!
It's a continuous feast!

Prices exclusive: your expenses ashore (own catering amongst others); your travel expenses to and/or from the stopovers; harbour dues not in Race / Cruise in Company (to be divided amongst all persons aboard).
